Bajo el Azul de tu Misterio

Some pictures from my recent show at Charlotte Lund Gallery in Stockholm

Here is a nice review (in swedish) that appeared on Omkonst, an art magazine online.

Gnosis/Kosmogoni

All the pieces are now placed, the inauguration will be on September 15.
Gnosis is a Greek word for knowledge and insight, Cosmogony is the teaching of the world’s origin or creation.
The installation consists of eight stone sculptures with more or less anthropomorphic features loosely based on art history works mixed with pop-cultural elements. The pieces carved in stone from different parts of the world: porphyry and pegmatite from Sweden, serpentinite from Zimbabwe and granite from India and Brazil
The material selection is an important element of the installation, the stone stands for continuity and variation, coming from many different places.
This is a commission for the district of Rinkeby in Stockholm,

Portugal, part two

Just finished three sculptures out of six…
